Billy Bragg & Wilco - California Stars

I went through some old CDs last nite and dug out “Mermaid Avenue,” Billy Bragg & Wilco’s side project where they put music to unused Woody Guthrie lyrics. The results are pretty fantastic. They did a second volume and there’s talk of other artists keeping the project alive, as Guthrie left behind over 1000 completed unused lyrics
