I’ve been going to Luna since I could drive myself. When I go through some of the most important albums I ever bought, a large amount of them came from Luna. Sometimes I’d walk in with purpose and leave with what I came for, other times I’d walk in with no purpose and leave damn near broke. Sure, the digital revolution has hit indie record stores hard, but I’m not worried. Nothing compares to having a conversation about music that could lead to the discovery of something that will be a part of your life forever. Nothing compares to joy of buying a new album, holding it in your hands, eagerly anticipating what comes after 00:00, and pouring over the art and lyrics. Nothing compares to your friendly neighborhood record store.
